Arena, a global institutional asset manager, is renowned for providing creative solutions to borrowers seeking capital for smaller and underserved needs. Their vast operation spans 20 countries, and they have made over $5 billion of loans since inception. 

Arena capitalizes on opportunities other funds miss by combining diverse investment platforms—such as real estate capabilities mixed with corporate lending—and in making smaller loans that larger conventional lenders don’t engage in.

THE CHALLENGE

Arena’s mandate requires a large body of investor relations material in order to describe its broad investment capabilities to prospective investors and to provide the appropriate transparency to existing investors on portfolios that typically hold over 100 different investments. 

The challenge is to maintain consistent branding and voice across all of this content while still communicating in a way that is tailored to the unique needs of each area in which Arena invests. 

HOW N2 HELPS

When N2 began partnering with Arena in 2019, the content of Arena’s communications was differentiated, but the look and feel distracted from that quality. 

Starting with Arena’s core assets (investor deck, letter templates, etc.), N2 created a brand format and gave Arena’s communications professionalism and an eye-catching appeal. 

Over time, that support extended to copy editing to ensure clarity, consistency, and error-free copy and data visualizations. In addition, N2 has created several web pages and other content for Arena’s borrowers and partners.
